This is the perfect tour for an independent tourist who does not want to comply with the common sightseeing!
The suggested tour starts from the amazing surrounding walls, to go ahead until you reach your first great stop in the historic centre: Piazza Anfiteatro, the ancient location of the Roman amphitheater. Then, cycling by cycling, you will meet the marvelous tower which belonged to Guinigi nobleman, who chose to complete it with some holm oakes on its top! You will need a short break before reaching Piazza San Michele, the square that amazes the tourists thanks to its namesake church. Next close stop will be Piazza Napoleone, the so-called ‘Big square’.
From there, passing through Piazza del Giglio (Lily square), you will reach Piazza S. Martino, where you will be truly fascinated by the visit of the Cathedral
