This is an enchanting weekend for truffle lovers in one of the best regions of Italy: Tuscany!
You will have the opportunity to “recharge your batteries” in the charming Spa town of Montecatini Terme. We have arranged for you a special package with a combination of a comfortable stay in a 4*hotel in the center of Montecatini, and a special truffle tour.
The Truffle experience is in an ancient Tuscan estate, with huge wood area, not far from San Minato. Once arrived there, you will be welcomed by the owners, who will explain to you their passion for the “diamond of the woods”…the truffle. You will then explore the woods with expert guides and start the truffle hunt, which will last approx 2 hours. At the end of it you will return to the estate where you will savor a memorable truffle based four course lunch.
You will start with truffle based appetizers, then taste the delicious home-made pasta with truffle sauce, fried eggs with fresh truffle, and a delicate truffle dessert. During the lunch, you will also have the chance to taste a good Tuscan wine and Italian coffee.
You will then return to Montecatini Terme, at your 4* Hotel. The facility is equipped of all the comforts and has its own private pool. The hotel offers a fantastic buffet breakfast too.
A guided walking tour of Montecatini is also included in your package. Our expert guide will explain you the importance of its position and the ancient history of this Thermal Spa Resort. The guide will welcome you with all the tips and suggestions of where to find good restaurants and what to visit during your stay in Tuscany.
