We will take a panoramic quiet drive through the valley and stop to enjoy the unique shape of Maddalena’s bridge. Here you will learn the history and the legend of it.
Then we’ll follow to Bagni di Lucca with one of the first casino’s in Europe. Here you’ll learn how people use to gather in the past in one of the buildings in “Bagni Caldi“, which now houses the thermal baths.
On the way to Barga you will discover an imposing medieval fortress. There, you will enjoy the stunning view over the Alps and Appennine mountains.
Later, you will visit Barga and its elegant Cathedral, built between the 9th and 12th century. In Barga you will stroll along the tiny streets and the picturesque squares of the village, which truly witness the medieval urban structure.
