After a panoramic drive we will reach Fiesole, founded by the Etruscans on the top of a hill (8th century BC) not far away from Florence. Its position guarantees one of the most scenic view of Florence from the bus, with its rolling hills designed by the elegant cypresses and the unmissable olive groves.
After this striking experience, we will drive back to Florence and it will be time to explore on foot the Renaissance capital. Here you'll enjoy a guided walking tour in the city centre. We'll pass nearby the Franciscan Basilica of Santa Croce (where Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and many other famous people are buried) before reaching the wonderful Piazza della Signoria. Prepare yourself to be truly amazed by one of the most charming square in the world! You will admire the imposing Palazzo della Signoria or Palazzo Vecchio, as well as the statues and sculptures by Cellini, Giambologna and Ammannati adorning the square, and the harmonius Loggia della Signoria
