All I can say is AWESOME. We did the Siena, Chianti, Cinque Terre and several other tours through Come and See Italy and in comparison with every tour group we have ever used in any of our travels this is by far THE BEST. We had the best tour guides that were all very knowledgeable, personable, and went out of their way to make our trips a true experience. Unlike so many tours we have taken, we were given plenty of time to explore on our own so that we could see the things that we were interested in and were directed to the best of the best by our guide. Everything ran on time and we could have not asked for a better experience. If you are visiting this area of Italy, do not consider any other tour company other than this. It doesn't get any better!! Thanks so much for making our visit most enjoyable and memorable.

Just returned from 11 days in Montecatini Terme. Had a fantastic time, the highlights of which were our 3 excursions with "Come and See Italy". We did Cinque Terre with guide Tanya who was excellent. Her organisation of a group of 24 which included English, Italian and Russians was brilliant. We really enjoyed the boat trip and the villages are simply gorgeous. Moving between them by train was also an experience. Our 2nd trip was to San Gimignano and Siena. A small group so it was great fun as we could all interact. Our tour leaderb was Valery who was a local so had extensive knowledge of the area. After visiting San Gimignano we had a wine tasting experience with local delicacies and ample samples of White and Red wines. We then moved on to Siena where we were met by our guide Barbara. We had a walking tour of the city followed by free time to explore ourselves. The 3rd and final excursion was to Florence and the Uffizi Gallery. The bus  dropped us off at the Railway Station where we met our excellent guide Tanya. We then had a walking tour of the main sights of the city before being fast tracked into the Uffizi Gallery. The tour leader was very informative on the journey too. All of the excursions were very well organized and we won't hesitate to use you again and recommend you to our friends and family.Thank you!

Visit of Montecarlo medieval village

Think about waiting for the sunset facing rows of vineyards and olive trees that 'stretched in never-ending line' along the Tuscan hills. Then, suppose to have the possibility of 'recollecting into tranquillity your emotion' with a gorgeous dinner, not to forget V. Woolf's advice: 'One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one hasn’t eaten well'.
How could you barely say “no” to this joyful&romantic evening? A truly dreamy tour!

After a panoramic drive in Lucca countryside, we'll arrive in Montecarlo, a medieval village in the heart of Tuscany. We will walk through this tiny hamlet, picturesquely sited on the hill, where a glorious fortress still overlooks the surroundings.

We'll then reach the farm where you will learn the different phases of extra-virgin olive oil production and pressing. You will also get to know quite well the famous Montecarlo wine - that received the DOC certification both for the red and the white wines – to finally enjoy the tasting of their extra-virgin olive oil served on a nice 'bruschetta' and accompanied by few glasses of Montecarlo wine.

Finally, you will enjoy a delicious dinner in the nearby restaurant, where you will end the wine tasting during the Tuscan meal. You will have the traditional Tuscan 'antipasto' as starters, followed by the first meal: home-made pasta. Then, one of the Tuscan highlights: the Florentine T-bone steak, served with beans seasoned by Montecarlo extra-virgin olive oil. After this meraviglia, you'll be truly fascinated by the reflections of the setting sun rays of light on the little glass full of the Tuscan sweet dessert wine: like sea at the sunset, where you will dip your Cantuccini (Tuscan biscuits)!
