Long the marble road we can admire a lot of skill workers who are climbing the marble caves. We’ll visit a sculptor art studio in the heart of the marble mountain, which seems like an open-air exhibition, and learn at close quarters about the history and working of marble. An artist from Carrara will explain you and show you how a rough peace of marble can became a piece of art. To involve you more in the marble fantasy we’ll show you an active quarry where you can see how the workers cut huge pieces of marble blocks. Of course we can’t miss a visit of the tiny town of Colonnata famous for the lard.
