Our tour of S. Gimignano:
San Gimignano is a Tuscan village of fair towers, dating back to the Etruscan period. You can feel this antique atmosphere long the main street with the old medieval palaces and old ceramic shops. With this tour you can combine art and shopping and have a view over the vineyards and olive-groves. We’ll start our tour in this small medieval village at the gate of St. John, than we’ll pass by the Cistern square and the Cathedral square. Both of them have the most important medieval buildings which face each other. To continue in medieval atmosphere, we can have our lunch in an old farmhouse, drinking Chianti wines and eating local food.
